The warmer months conjure up memories of outdoor parties and icy cold drinks, but don’t make the mistake of running out of ice the next time you throw a summer soiree. While your refrigerator ice maker is capable of producing enough ice cubes for a few glasses of water, when it comes to making larger amounts of ice quickly and efficiently, nothing beats the power and convenience of a portable ice maker.

The NewAir AI-210W PerfectCube portable ice maker in white is one of the most affordable, yet advanced portable ice makers on the market.

Typically, commercial or restaurant ice makers are huge units that also make a large amount of noise. Furthermore, they cost thousands of dollars to purchase. However, with the NewAir AI-210W PerfectCube, you can now make ice in as little as six minutes of operation and in three different sized cubes.

When compared to competing portable ice makers on the market, the AI-210W by NewAir actually produced 33 percent more ice in each cycle and 25% more per day. Twelve pieces of ice were produced per cycle, and for easy operation, no direct water line was required. To make ice, we simply poured bottled or tap water into the tank and waited for ice to appear in about six minutes.

Included with the NewAir AI-210W was a removable ice bin and ice scoop, as well as self-cleaning features. When we had enough ice, unused water in the tank was emptied through the side mounted drain. When we needed to store the unit away or transport it t to another location, we pick up the unit by its recessed side mounted handles.

Our product team was able to test the NewAir AI-210W at our annual company summer party, and we were blown away with how quickly this unit provided us with ice. Furthermore, because of its size, it was compact enough to be placed on top of our kitchen counter. We were also happy with the fact that we were able to make three different sized ice cubes: small, medium, or large. This made making icy cocktails effortless, as we had different types of ice cubes for bevy of beverages.

Best off all, the NewAir AI-210W was quite affordable and much less expensive than many of the competing models we saw by more well-known brands such as Franklin Chef and Sunpentown. Overall, we thought the NewAir AI-210 was an excellent product at an even better price. In fact, every single person in our office was anxious to know where they could get their hands on one!
